Services
Private charter: you and your group can privately charter the boat. The Capt. will do his best to ensure that you have a good time, catch fish, and have a safe trip. On a charter boat there are several different fishing options. Aboard the Back-Atcha, you can experience Bay fishing or Gulf fishing. It depends on what you want to do!!! In the Bay we fish mainly for speckeled trout, redfish and flounder. Also, depending on the time of year... we catch jack crevelle, spanish mackerel, skip jack and bluefish. In the Gulf we can light tackle troll for king mackerel, spanish mackerel, bonita, dolphin and more.... For bottom fishing, we find snapper, grouper, trigger fish, amberjacks, etc.. And don't forget the very exciting sight fishing for cobia during their migration - usually March thru April in Emerald Coast of Florida and fly fishing can be great fun.

  • We provide everything except your food and drink. No need for tackle or license.
  • Book early to the get best days, but we take last minute reservations too.
  • Deposit of $100 is required, but trips are fully refundable due to weather conditions.
  • With a maximum of 4 people.

    LOCATION: Destin Florida's East Pass Marina
    We are docked next to the Boat House Oyster Bar

    We recommend that you start early to a jump on the large fishing fleet - 5:30 AM in Summer - varies Spring and Fall.
    We recommend keeping coolers to a minimum to provide more room for anglers. We have a built in drink cooler and fish box for storage.

    Appropriate Clothing
    Light Layers are Best.
    Temps in North Florida can vary from the Mid 40's to Mid 70's in Spring and Fall and Upper 90s are Common in the Summer. It can start off chilly and end up hot!!!
    Don't forget your sunscreen, hats and cameras.
